Sarah, Rayver secret lovers?

FRIENDSHIP,” Sarah Geronimo replied with a laugh at the post-Christmas
party tendered by her mom, Divine, for the entertainment press atSarah
Geronimo the St. Charbel Executive Village on Commonwealth Ave. when
asked what she had as Christmas gift from young actor-dancer, Rayver
Cruz.

But when prodded further, she said it was a bottle of perfume without mentioning the brand.

Does it affirm that Rayver is the one who inspires her now?

“We’re good friends,” she said. “It may sound showbiz, but it’s true.”

Does she have any gift for Rayver in return?

“Wala po,” she quipped. “Gusto ko sana siyang bigyan, pero wala talaga akong time mag-shopping.”

She looked inspired by mere mention of Rayver’s name, but she quickly
dismissed this as confirmation of a relationship. “Mahirap pong
ipaliwanag, pero si Rayver, very patient. Kung magiging ganun siya
talaga…pero di ko masasabi kung kelan talaga. Basta ‘yung friendship
namin ngayon, pinahahalagahan namin.”

Rayver is 20, while Sarah is 21. She said she may be ready to have a
boyfriend when she reaches 25, but is Rayver willing to wait?

At the press visit for Rayver’s new TV series, “Magkano ang Iyong
Dangal” at the Marikina River Banks the next day, he said: “Hindi po
natin masabi. Marami pang pwedeng mangyari in four years.”

Rayver confirmed he gave Sarah a bottle of perfume, but he, too, was
evasive about the real score between them. A source said the two have
been dating secretly, but would rather keep it to themselves.

Sarah’s mom, Divine, explained that they’ve talked about Sarah having
suitors, which is inevitable, but having a boyfriend is out of the
question at the moment.

“Alam n’yo naman kung saan kami galing,” said Mommy Divine. “Ang hirap
ng aming pinagdaanan. At saka, as a mother, gusto ko sana, kung
magka-kaboyfriend siya, isa lang…”

“Puwede ba dalawa?” Sarah butted in, joking. (Hope she really was.)

“At saka,” Mommy Divine continued, “gusto ko sana, kung
magkaka-boyfriend siya, ready na siya emotionally, spiritually. At
saka, importante rin, financially. Darating ‘yon, in God’s time. Marami
pang bagay na dapat i-consider. Hindi naman lahat ng tao nabibigyan ng
ganitong pagkakataon, kaya inaalagaan namin.”

Back to Rayver, he said it would really be hard for both of them to
have a serious relationship now. Both are still studying, and working.
“Mahirap po talaga,” he said.

For Sarah, she said: “Sa tingin ko, hindi pa talaga pwede. Mahirap
balansehin. Bini-visualize ko nga minsan kung pa’no ako magiging
girlfriend. Gusto ko magkaroon ng Edward (from “Twilight”) na mamahalin
talaga.”

Meanwhile, life goes on for both Rayver and Sarah.

Sarah will be so busy this year with shows, a microseries for Sunsilk,
and a movie with Judy Ann Santos where she will have Luis Manzano as
leading man. “Excited po ako sa magiging chemistry namin ni Luis.”

Rayver will star opposite Bangs Garcia in “Magkano ang Iyong Dangal, “ with Sid Lucero as co-star and directed by Chito Roño.
