Pop Star Sarah Geronimo’s wish for her birthday on July 25 is simple – she wants to have more time for herself.

“Enjoy naman po ako sa buhay ko pero sana magkaroon ako ng bakasyon. Gusto kong makasama ang mga kaibigan ko sa araw na 'yon ng walang kinalaman sa trabaho,” she said.

If it happens, Sarah would spend the day hiking or at the beach.

The singer-actress is grateful to her fans for the support they have showered her all these years.

She also appreciates their protectiveness. Lately, many of Sarah’s fans have been criticizing actor Rayver Cruz who was linked to their idol, but suddenly started courting Melissa Ricks.

Sarah defended Rayver, saying he has the right to court anyone he likes.

“Kailangan din namang irespeto ang mga private lives ng mga artista. Kung sino man ang gusto nilang ligawan, bayaan natin sila, choice nila iyon. Hindi tayo dapat mag-judge, mag-assume na may ginagamit o nanggagamit,” she said in general terms.

Sarah then spoke directly of Rayver: “Walang masama kung ligawan ni Rayver si Melissa. Binata naman siya at wala pang commitment sa ibang babae [maging] sa akin. Hindi naman siya nanloloko ng ibang babae kung gawin niya yon.”

Sarah said she’ll be happy for whomever Rayver would find love.
